I came to WSM after having very poor representation in the beginning of my divorce case. Hari was amazing at being able to take the case and turn around as much as he could of the damage that had been done. We just finalized my divorce and I couldn’t be more impressed with Hari or pleased with the settlement he was able to secure for me. Hari has a near encyclopedic knowledge of the law, a sharp, professional presence in the courtroom, is aggressive and thorough in pursuit of what’s yours, and his advice is always spot on. But his true forte is his ability to write concise, persuasive motions that get you what you want. His writing is his art and it proved to be exceptionally effective in my case. On the personal side, he’s a great listener, funny, and he understands that this is one of the worst experiences in your life and doesn’t get upset if you go off on him – which I did several times. As far as legal costs go, you can trust him. Hari is always cognizant of his time and your money, and he won’t drag you out in the weeds to generate fees. He will straight up tell you not to waste your money if you want to do something he believes won’t ultimately be in your best interest, and all fees he did charge me were legitimate and fair. Hari is honest, meticulous, very good at what he does and, considering the settlement I received, literally the best investment I ever made. Ladies, I can’t recommend him highly enough and can tell you he’s the man you want if you want to get rid of the one you have.

Katie Woodford represented me in a divorce from a short term marriage. In these cases, there is usually no award of spousal support or attorneys fees but Katie knows how to work with people. This is her gift. She worked with my spouses attorney and got me a settlement agreement that included alimony AND attorneys fees. She is thoughtful and yet has no issue being firm and resolute when need be. She avoided what could have been a lot of bickering by creating an environment of reason.
